Plant-a-Basket Party
Join us the last weekend in March for our "Plant-a-Basket" Party hosted by the Hubbard County Master Gardeners. Bring a friend and enjoy planting your very own 12" basket that we will care for in our nursery until the frost is gone. Also included is a tea party lunch and 2 seminars on various gardening topics. The cost for this event is $35.
Mother's Day Bouquet
Calling all kids! Kids 12 and under are invited to join us the Friday before Mother's Day for a Mother's Day Bouquet planting party. Each child receives a 10" planter and plants to create a special bouquet for mom. Lunch is included. The cost for this event is $7.00. Additional planters are just $4 each!

Green for Life Tree Planting
On September 22, 2011 Flying W Gardens planted a Linden tree with the Kindergarten class of Park Rapids, MN. Over 130 children learned about trees and watched their tree be planted at Century Elementary School. The tree was donated by Flying W Gardens and Bert Swanson in honor of the MNLA's Green for Life campaign. This campaign is an effort to educate students and the public about the environmental benefits of trees, plants and other healthy components of a quality outdoor living environment through planting events at schools in member’s local communities.
