Flying W Gardens Began In 1994 - On The Wilke Family Airstrip

Flying W Gardens was founded by Cheryle Wilke in 1994 to provide the Park Rapids, MN area quality landscape products and services. Cheryle started Flying W Gardens with many years of experience in the industry and the expert help of her husband, Craig. She is accredited with being a Hubbard County Master Gardener, Certified MNLA (Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association) professional, and a MN/DOT certified landscaper. In 1999 Cheryle’s daughter Teresa and husband Richard Ohm joined the company. Richard and Teresa became partners with Cheryle in 2005. Teresa manages the garden center and office duties. Richard works with Cheryle designing and installing landscapes. He is a certified pesticide applicator and a MN power limited technician. Flying W Gardens has successfully grown to provide customers with a full service garden center, landscape design, landscape installation, low voltage lighting installation, and tree and shrub maintenance.
